Investment Advisory Committee
James B. Nicholson, of Detroit, is the president and CEO of PVS Chemicals, Inc. He was appointed to the National Infrastructure Advisory Council by President George W. Bush in 2006 and was named a Michiganian of the Year in 2004 by the Detroit News. The appointment is for a three-year term and subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
Michigan State Housing Development Authority Board
Kirk Steudle, director of the Michigan Department of Transportation, Maura Corrigan, director of the Michigan Department of Human Services; and Andy Dillon, State Treasurer, are appointed as members of the governor's cabinet.
Michigan State Transportation Commission
Todd Wyett and Chuck Moser are appointed to serve three-year terms. Wyett, of Charlevoix, is CEO of Versa Real Estate. He previously served on the board of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. Moser, of Drummond Island, serves as the executive director of the Eastern Upper Peninsula Transit Authority. He previously served as chief of staff for former state Senator Walter North. The appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
Michigan Strategic Fund
Michael Finney, president and CEO of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, and Andy Dillon, State Treasurer, are appointed as members of the governor's Cabinet.
