Snyder appoints Jamie Hsu as chair of Asian Pacific American Affairs Commission

LANSING, Mich. - Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Asian Pacific American Affairs Commission member Dr. Jamie Hsu, of Troy, as chair of the commission. He replaces Dr. H. Sook Wilkinson, who will remain on the board.
The 21-member commission advances the full and equal participation of Asian Pacific Americans in Michigan.
Dr. Hsu is an adjunct professor of management at Lawrence Technological University, where he also serves as a strategic management and leadership development consultant. He previously held various leadership positions with General Motors, including executive director of global technology management. Dr. Hsu holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from National Taiwan University and a master's degree and Ph.D. in solid mechanics from Brown University in Rhode Island. Dr. Hsu will serve as chair at the pleasure of the governor.
