Snyder makes appointment to Manufactured Housing Commission
August 20, 2013
LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Linda O’Brien, of Milford, to the Manufactured Housing Commission.
The commission establishes uniform policies related to all phases of manufactured housing, business manufactured housing parks and seasonal manufactured housing parks.
“I thank Linda for her willingness to serve on this commission,” Snyder said.
O’Brien has worked as a planning aide for the charter township of White Lake and materiel assistant senior for Hughes Aircraft Co. O’Brien holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from Eastern Michigan University and a paralegal certificate from Oakland Community College. She will represent residents of a licensed manufactured housing park and replaces Patricia Newman.
O’Brien will serve a three-year term expiring May 9, 2016, and her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the state Senate.
