Ron Boji appointed to state Transportation Commission
October 17, 2013
LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Ron Boji, of Orchard Lake, to the state Transportation Commission.
The six-member commission is the policy-making body for all state transportation programs.
“Ron has enjoyed a distinguished career and I look forward to his contributions to this important commission,” Snyder said.
Boji is president of the Boji Group, where he manages, develops and leases the company’s real estate portfolio. He previously worked in the technology industry as a representative of large computer hardware and software firms. Boji holds a bachelor’s degree in building construction management from Michigan State University. He fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Sharon Rothwell and will serve as a Republican.
Boji will serve the remainder of a three-year term expiring Dec. 21, 2014, and his appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
