Snyder makes appointment to Board of Professional Surveyors

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Nick Darin, of Allen Park, to the Michigan Board of Professional Surveyors.
The nine-member board regulates the practice of professional surveyors.
“Nick is a talented professional and I thank him for his willingness to serve in this role,” Snyder said.
Darin is an associate attorney with L.E. Hunt PC, where he specializes in family and criminal law and works as a court appointed counsel in the Dearborn District Court. He is also the owner of Darin Law PLLC, where he specializes in family, criminal, business and real estate law and serves as a court appointed attorney in the felony courts of Macomb and Wayne counties. Darin earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and business from Kalamazoo College and law degree from the University of Toledo. He will represent the general public and replaces Robert Stanford.
Darin will serve a four-year term expiring March 31, 2017, and his appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the state Senate.
