LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Justin Moreau, of Hillman, to the Michigan Board of Nursing Home Administrators.
The nine-member board is responsible for determining minimal entry-level requirements for nursing home administrators.
“Justin is an experienced nursing home administrator and will be an asset to the board,” Snyder said.
Moreau has been the administrator of MediLodge of Hillman since 2005, and has been with the company for the last 10 years. Moreau was designated Administrator of the Year by the Association of Nutrition and Food Professionals in 2013 and MediLodge was honored as Best Skilled Nursing Facility on the Sunrise Side by the Alpena News in 2010. He earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Penn State University. He will represent nursing home administrators and will replace Kathleen Hanert.
Moreau will serve the remainder of a four-year term expiring June 30, 2016. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
