Snyder makes appointment to Board of Physical Therapy

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Jeff Munford, of Grand Haven, to the Michigan Board of Physical Therapy.
The 11-member board advises and assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with overseeing the practice of physical therapists.
“I thank Jeff for his willingness to serve on this board,” Snyder said.
Munford is the director of business development at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. He previously worked in sales at Johnson & Johnson, Braintree Laboratories, and E&J Gallow Winery. Munford earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and Spanish from Western Michigan University and an MBA from Grand Valley State University.He will represent the general public and replaces Ginger Smietana.
Munford will serve a four-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2017. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
