Snyder makes reappointment to Board of Athletic Trainers

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointment of Gerald Myers, of Flushing, to the Michigan Board of Athletic Trainers.
The 11-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with overseeing the licensure and practice of athletic trainers.
“I am pleased to have Gerald back on the board and am confident his good work will continue,” Snyder said.
Myers is the president and CEO of the Crim Fitness Foundation Inc. He served as president and CEO of GSM Enterprises and Palomar Pomerado Health Foundation, as well as legislative aide to former Speaker Bobby Crim. Myers earned a bachelor’s degree in communication from Michigan State University. He will continue to represent the general public.
Myers will serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2018. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
