Snyder makes reappointment to State Building Authority board

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointment of Patrick Devlin, of Livonia, to the State Building Authority board of trustees.
The five-person board oversees the State Building Authority, which issues and sells bonds and notes to acquire equipment and construct facilities.
"Patrick is an experienced and dedicated professional, and I am confident he will continue to effectively serve this board," said Snyder.
Devlin is chief elected officer of the Michigan Building Trades Council, a position that he has held since 2005. He served as secretary and treasurer of the Greater Detroit Building Trades Council and as business manager for Sprinkler Fitters Local #704. Devlin is past president of the Michigan Pipe Trades Association and former chairman of the U.S.A. Sprinkler Fitters Association.He will continue to represent the general public.
Devlin will serve a four-year term expiring Aug. 21, 2018. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
