Snyder announces appointment to Board of Barber Examiners
October 14, 2014
LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Eric Dimoff, of Williamston, to the Michigan Board of Barber Examiners.
The nine-member board is housed in the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and oversees the services of barbers, barber students, barber colleges, barber instructors, student instructors, and barbershops in Michigan.
"I am confident Eric will bring beneficial insight to this board and I thank him for his willingness to serve,” Snyder said.
Dimoff is an account executive for Marketing Resource Group Inc. He worked at the Michigan State University Museum as a public relations assistant and at the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. Dimoff earned his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. He represents the general public and fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Brian Lakkidas.
Dimoff will serve the remainder of a four-year term expiring Sept. 30, 2016. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
