LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of William Adcock, of Lansing, to the Residential Builders' and Maintenance and Alteration Contractors' Board.
Created in 1980, the nine-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with licensing and regulating the construction, alteration or improvement of residential structures.
"William brings valuable experiences to this board and I am confident he will effectively serve in this role," said Snyder.
Adcock is owner and president of William Adcock Builders and executive director of the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum. He worked as principal residential builder and developer and vice president of Midwest Homes Inc., and was owner and partner of William Adcock Builders. He is a member of the Michigan State University President’s Club, the Gilmore Car Museum, Classic Car Club of America, and the Michigan Region of the CCC. He represents licensed residential builders and replaces James Haeussler.
Adcock will serve a four-year term expiring March 31, 2018. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
