LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Candy Kozeluh, of Marquette, to the Iron Industry Museum Advisory Board.
Housed within the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, the nine-member board advises the department on policies, plans, and programs concerning the Negaunee Township-based Michigan Iron Industry Museum. It supports education programs and public use of the facility.
"I am confident Candy will be a great board member who will do good work to preserve the history of our state," said Snyder.
Kozeluh is director of recreational marketing for the Marquette County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Kozeluh earned a certificate from Northern Michigan University. She represents the city of Marquette and replaces Carol Fulsher.
Kozeluh will serve a four-year term expiring Oct. 4, 2018. Her appointment is not subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
