Lt. Gov. Brian Calley and Julie Calley wish Michiganders a merry Christmas

December 21, 2015

LANSING, Mich. – Lt. Gov. Brian Calley and Julie Calley wished Michiganders a merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2016.

Lt. Gov. Brian Calley: Merry Christmas, Michigan! This is a special time of year as we gather with our family, friends, and neighbors to celebrate the Christmas season and the birth of Jesus Christ.

Julie Calley: The Lord’s message is one of love, kindness, and compassion.  And this season, we’re reminded to live like he did—to reach out and make a difference in our communities. During the holidays, Michiganders faithfully show their generous spirit, volunteering time and giving to help our neighbors in need.

LG Calley: Let’s also pause to remember everything we have been blessed with—our families, our communities, our beautiful state and the greatest nation in the history of world.  We also thank our armed forces for the sacrifices they have made to protect our nation, especially those not able to make it home for Christmas.

Julie Calley: From our family to yours, we wish you seasons greetings, a blessed Christmas, and a happy and healthy 2016.
