Gov. Rick Snyder makes reappointment to the Michigan Strategic Board of Directors

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointment of Shaun Wilson, of Grosse Pointe Farms, to the Michigan Strategic Fund Board of Directors.

Created by P.A. 270 in 1984, the Michigan Strategic Fund has advises on promoting economic development to create jobs.

 “I thank Shaun for his contributions to Michigan’s economic vitality and look forward to his ongoing efforts to promote Michigan,” Snyder said.

Wilson is senior vice president and oversees the Detroit office for Truscott Rossman. He previously served as the vice president and director of client and community relations with PNC Financial Services Group in Troy and vice president and marketing manager in southeast Michigan for National City Bank in Troy. Wilson served eight years in the U.S. Marine Corps and earned a bachelor's degree in public relations from Wayne State University.

Wilson will serve a term expiring Feb. 28, 2020. His appointment is not subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
