LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Jennifer Kindel, of Auburn, to the Michigan Board of Dentistry.
The 19-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs in overseeing and regulating the practice of more than 7,800 dentists, 10,100 dental hygienists and 1,400 dental assistants.
“Jennifer brings years of experience to this board," Snyder said. "I am confident she will do great work to help ensure improved quality of oral health services for all Michiganders."
Kindel is a dental assistant for Kevin Bone D.D.S. and is a dental assistant program evaluator for the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. She has more than 29 years of experience in the dentistry field.
