Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Michigan Board of Massage Therapy

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment Lynn Wolf, of Petoskey, to the Michigan Board of Massage Therapy.
The 11-member board plays an advisory role and assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with overseeing the practice of massage therapists.
"Lynn is an experienced professional, and I know she will do great work on this board," Snyder said.
Wolf is owner and operator of Balanced Body by Lynn and a firefighter and EMT for the Resort Bear Creek Fire Department in Petoskey. Wolf earned a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Lake Superior State University. She will represent professional members and replaces Melissa Mueller.
Wolf will serve a four-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2019. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
