Gov. Rick Snyder makes reappointment to the State Board of Architects

LANSING, Mich. - Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Dan Lamble, of Troy, to the State Board of Architects.

 

The nine-member board regulates the practice of architecture. Today, it oversees more than 5,000 licensed professionals.

 

"I look forward to Dan's continued work on this board to ensure safety and encourage ongoing innovation in architecture," Snyder said.

 

With more than 30 years of experience in industrial, health care and commercial facilities, Lamble is a senior engineering manager with Walbridge Aldinger. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects of Michigan and Association of Licensed Architects. Lamble holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from the University of Michigan. He will continue to represent architects.

 

Lamble will serve a four-year term that expires March 31, 2020. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
