Gov. Rick Snyder makes reappointments to the Board of Professional Surveyors

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointments of Michael Drewyor, of Houghton, and Ginger Michalski-Wallace, of Whitmore Lake, to the Michigan Board of Professional Surveyors.
The nine-member board regulates the practice of professional surveyors.
“I thank Michael and Ginger for their continued service on this board and look forward to their ongoing contributions,” Snyder said.
Drewyor is a consultant of Michael T Drewyor PE, PS, LLC, and is a professor of practice at Michigan Technological University. He is a certified storm water operator and is a certified water distribution and treatment operator through the Department of Environmental Quality, as well was a licensed professional engineer and professional surveyor. Drewyor holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University. He will continue to represent surveyors.
Michalski-Wallace is president and co- founder of Alpine Engineering, Inc. and is a member of the Michigan Society of Professional Surveyors, She holds a bachelor’s degree in surveying engineering from Ferris State University and a master’s degree in science engineering from Purdue University. Michalski-Wallace will continue to represent professional surveyors.
Members will serve four-year terms expiring March 31, 2020. Their appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the state Senate.
