Gov. Rick Snyder makes reappointment to the Collection Practices Board

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointment of Rebecca Roberts of Jackson to the Michigan Collection Practices Board.
Housed within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the nine-member board licenses and regulates collection agencies operating in Michigan.
"Rebecca brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the board and I appreciate her willingness to continue to serve," Snyder said.
Roberts is executive manager of operations for LJ Ross Associates, Inc. She earned an associate’s degree from Jackson Community College and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Siena Heights University. She represents professionals and replaces Beth Rowe, who resigned.
Roberts will serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2020. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the state Senate.
