Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Great Lakes Water Authority

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Craig Hupy of Ypsilanti to the Great Lakes Water Authority.
“Craig has a tremendous amount of professional experience and will bring great insight to this authority,” Snyder said.
Hupy is the public services area administrator for the City of Ann Arbor. He held various positions with the city including manager of the field operations unit and the systems planning unit. Hupy is a registered professional engineer and has multiple certifications through the Department of Environmental Quality. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Michigan Technological University.
Hupy will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Ed Hood and serve the term at the pleasure of the governor.
