Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Debera Eggleston of Haslett to the Michigan Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
Housed within the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, the 11-member board advises the department on issues affecting prescription drug coverage for its various health care programs.
"Debera is an experienced physician and I thank her for her willingness to serve and share her knowledge with this committee,” Snyder said.
Eggleston is the chief medical director of the Michigan Medicaid Program at the Department of Health and Human Services. She holds a bachelor’s degree in medical technology from Michigan State University and a doctor of medicine from the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. She will represent physicians and fill a vacancy.
Eggleston will serve a two-year term expiring Oct. 1, 2018.
