Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Ronald Bradley of Williamston to the Michigan Board of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery.
The 11-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with overseeing the practice of more than 8,200 osteopathic doctors.
"Dr. Bradley has an extensive background in medicine and I am confident he will make positive contributions to this board,” Snyder said.
Bradley is a physician at McLaren Hospital and an instructor at Central Michigan University College of Medicine. He holds a bachelor’s degree in pre-medicine and philosophy and a master’s degree in liberal arts and biology from Wayne State University, a Ph.D. from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a doctorate of osteopathic medicine from Michigan State University. He will represent physicians and fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Thomas Goodwin.
Bradley will serve the remainder of a four-year terms expiring Dec. 31, 2018. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
