Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Board of Audiology

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Lisa Brennan of Grand Rapids to the Michigan Board of Audiology.
Housed within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the nine-member board licenses and regulates audiologists practicing in Michigan.
“I thank Lisa for serving on this board and am confident she will bring positive input to this board,” Snyder said.
Brennan is the executive director for Western Michigan University Area Health Education and previously served as a health educator at the Central Michigan District Health Department. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Saginaw Valley State University. She will represent the general public and replace Melissa Lewis.
Brennan will serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2020. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the state Senate.
