LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Ronald Haddad of Dearborn to the Commission on Middle Eastern American Affairs.
Established by Executive Order 2015-6, the 15-member commission was created to act in an advisory capacity to the Governor and the director of the Department of Civil Rights.
“I thank Ronald for his willingness to serve and I’m confident he will positively influence this commission and serve as a strong voice for the Middle Eastern American community within our state,” Snyder said.
Haddad has served as Dearborn’s Chief of Police since 2008.
