LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Robyn Wilson Peake of Paw Paw to the Michigan Board of Chiropractic.
Housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the nine-member board sets entry-level competency standards for health practitioners and verifies continuing education during licensure, protecting and promoting the public's health, safety and welfare.
“I thank Robyn for serving in this role and I am confident she will be a positive addition to this board,” Snyder said.
Peake is a licensed health agent for U.S. Health Advisors. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Spring Arbor University. She will represent the general public and fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Beth Griffin.
Peake will serve the remainder of a four-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2017. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
