Gov. Snyder makes appointment to the Board of Real Estate Appraisers

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Kristi Kozubal of Bay City to the Michigan Board of Real Estate Appraisers.
Housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the nine-member board licenses and regulates the service of more than 6,000 real estate appraisers.
“I thank Kristi for her service and I am confident she will do well in this role,” Snyder said.
Kozubal is an attorney with Learman Kozubal PLC. She previously served as general counsel at Rapanos Investment Group, and as a planning and zoning specialist for Bay City. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and a law degree from Michigan State University College of Law. She will represent the general public and fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Chelsea Knauf.
Kozubal will serve the remainder of a four-year term expiring June 30, 2018. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
