Gov. Snyder makes reappointment to the Advisory Council on Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing Persons

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointment of Elizabeth Kobylak of Troy to the Advisory Council on Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing.
The 13-member advisory council is housed within the Michigan Department of Civil Rights.
"Elizabeth has years of experience in this field and I am confident she will be a positive addition to this council," Snyder said.
Kobylak is a hearing aid technician for Henry Ford Medical Center – Lakeside. She is a member of the American Academy of Hearing Loss Support Specialists, and is a facilitator of Support Groups for Persons with Hearing Loss. Kobylak attended Wayne State University and Mt. Assisi Academy. She will continue to represent deaf or hard of hearing persons.
Kobylak will serve a three-year term expiring Jan. 18, 2020.
