LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced that Tricia Kinley will join the executive office as the new External Affairs Director, working to coordinate outreach efforts statewide and ensuring the priorities of residents, groups and coalitions continue to be part of the administration’s work.
“Tricia is well known for having the ability to get things done, and will help us work with community groups and coalitions as we continue toward a better future for all Michiganders,” Snyder said. “Ensuring we are on the right path cannot be achieved without working together with residents throughout the state. Tricia will be invaluable in bringing these voices together to maintain cohesive policies.”
Kinley comes from the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, where she was Senior Director of Tax and Regulatory Reform and worked on a variety of issues with diverse stakeholders.
She replaces Tori Sachs, and begins the new role on Monday, April 24.
