Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the State Building Authority Board of Trustees

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Dale Zahn of Holland to the State Building Authority Board of Trustees.
The five-person board oversees the State Building Authority, which issues and sells bonds and notes to acquire equipment and construct facilities.
“I thank Dale for serving and I’m confident he will be a positive addition to the board," Snyder said.
Zahn is the CEO of the West Michigan Lakeshore Association of Realtors. He is a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the National Association of Realtors. Zahn holds an associate’s degree in general studies from Prairie State College, a bachelor’s degree in speech and theater from St. Joseph’s Calumet College and a certificate from the non-profit management program at Duke University. He will replace Kenneth Lingenfelter.
Zahn will serve the remainder of a four-year term expiring Aug. 21, 2020. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
