Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Michigan Board of Massage Therapy

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Judy Robinson of Battle Creek to the Michigan Board of Massage Therapy.
Housed within the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the 11-member board plays an advisory role overseeing the practice of massage therapists.
"I am confident Judy will be a positive addition and I thank her for her commitment to this board and to overseeing Michigan massage therapists," Snyder said.
Robinson is a constituent relations representative in the Executive Office of Governor Rick Snyder. She previously served as a district representative for Congressman Tim Walberg and was a real estate broker for more than 22 years. She is an editor for the Great Lakes Sport Shooting Association Newsletter, an assistant editor for the United Doberman Club, and club manager and treasurer for Centerline of Calhoun County. Robinson attended Indiana University’s Fund Raising School and is qualified as an ambassador for public education. She will represent the general public and replaces Jill Murphy.
She will serve the remainder of a four-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2020. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
