LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Luke Terry of Haslett to the Michigan State Housing Development Authority Board.
The eight-member board supports MSHDA’s mission of enhancing Michigan's economic and social health through housing and community development activities. Of the four members appointed by the governor to represent the public, no more than two may be a member of the same political party.
“I thank Luke for his commitment to serving on this board and to ensuring Michiganders have safe and affordable housing options,” Snyder said.
Terry is a principal and financial advisor for Rehmann. He was previously a financial advisor for Terry Financial Group, which he founded in 2003. Terry holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Michigan State University and a master’s of business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He will represent Independents and fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Alexander Simpson.
Terry will serve the remainder of a four-year term expiring March 10, 2019. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
