LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder issued the following statement regarding today’s regional unemployment rate announcement:

“We are continuing to see a downward trend in Michigan’s unemployment rates across the entire state year over year. This is great news and now we need to maintain our momentum. That’s why we have increased attention and funding for education and training of our workforce while maintaining a focus on creating more jobs and better careers for all Michiganders.”
