Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Residential Builders' and Maintenance and Alteration Contractors' Board

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Kenneth Calverley of Goodrich to the Residential Builders' and Maintenance and Alteration Contractors' Board.
Created in 1980, the nine-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with licensing and regulating the construction, alteration or improvement of residential structures.
“I thank Kenneth for his service on this board and I look forward to his contributions to improving residential structures for Michiganders,” Snyder said.
Calverley is the president of K.C. Masonry & Concrete Impressions, a business he has been managing for 30 years, and is the president and host of “The Inside Outside Guys” radio talk show. He holds a maintenance and alterations contractor license specializing in concrete and masonry. He will represent maintenance and alteration contractors and replace Jeff Agnew.
Calverley will serve a four-year term expiring March 31, 2021. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
