LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Mark Wiseley of Whitmore Lake and Paul Lemley of Ada to the State Plumbing Board.
The seven-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with overseeing the licensure of plumbers to ensure the integrity of Michigan's plumbing industry.
“I thank Mark and Paul for their commitment to overseeing plumber licensure and ensuring Michiganders have access to high-quality plumbing workers,” Snyder said.
Wiseley has been the owner of Mastercraft Plumbing since 1994. He is a licensed plumbing contractor, master plumber, and mechanical contractor. He will represent licensed plumbing contractors who hold a master's license and replace Aaron Fedewa.
Lemley is the senior vice president of the commercial and industrial construction company Triangle Associates Inc. He’s a member of the National Executive Committee for Associated Builders and Contractors and recently served on Michigan’s Electrical Administrative Board. Lemley holds an associate’s degree in electrical engineering technology and a bachelor’s degree in technical management from Lawrence Technological University. He will represent the general public and replace Walter Maner III.
Members will serve a three-year term expiring July 31, 2020. Their appointments are subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
