LANSING, Mich. – Lt. Gov. Calley issued the following statement today after the U.S. House of Representatives approved a federal tax reform plan:
“When we reformed the Michigan tax code, substantial job growth followed. Federal tax reform is essential to move our nation forward and I'm encouraged that the U.S. House took the steps today to make that reform a reality," Lt. Gov. Brian Calley said. "Our current federal tax code is confusing, inefficient and creates barriers to economic growth.”
