LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Donald Weatherspoon of Haslett to the Unarmed Combat Commission.
Housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the 11-member commission oversees professional boxing and mixed martial arts events.
"I thank Donald for his commitment to overseeing boxing and mixed martial arts in Michigan," Snyder said.
