LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Sarah Eckenwiler of Fowlerville to the Michigan Board of Psychology.
The nine-member board, housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, evaluates and determines minimal entry level competency of health practitioners and takes disciplinary action against any misconduct of licensees.
“I thank Sarah for her devotion to helping Michiganders by overseeing Michigan health practitioners,” Snyder said.
Eckenwiler is a senior appointments associate within the appointments division of the Executive Office of Gov. Rick Snyder. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Oakland University. She will represent the general public and replace Lisa Gray.
Eckenwiler will serve a four-year term to expire Dec. 31, 2021. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
