Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Board of Nursing Home Administrators

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Cheryl Bray of Norway to the Michigan Board of Nursing Home Administrators.
Housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the nine-member board is responsible for determining licensing requirements for nursing home administrators.
“I thank Cheryl for her dedication to Michiganders,” Snyder said. “Her knowledge of this field will bring great perspective to this board.”
Bray is the administrator for HCR-ManorCare, ManorCare Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Kingsford. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in nursing administration from Northern Michigan University. She will represent nursing home administrators and replace Patricia Lyden.
Bray will serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2021. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
