Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Michigan Collection Practices Board

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Terry Lutz of Pigeon to the Michigan Collection Practices Board.
Housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the nine-member board licenses and regulates collection agencies operating in Michigan.
“I thank Terry for serving,” Snyder said. “I am confident he will be a positive asset to this board.”
Lutz has served as the chief financial officer for Scheurer Hospital for more than 22 years. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in health leadership from Saginaw Valley State University. He will represent the general public and replace Rackeline Hoff.
Lutz will serve the remainder of a four-year term expiring June 30, 2021. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
