Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Michigan Consortium of Advanced Networks

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Craig D’Agostini of Plymouth to the Michigan Consortium of Advanced Networks
The consortium is housed within the Executive Office and acts in an advisory capacity to the Governor and the State. The consortium is tasked with submitting a final report by Aug. 1, 2018, that solidifies a vision for a connected Michigan along with a roadmap to guide the state’s goal of ubiquitous broadband access.
"I thank Craig for his commitment to ensuring all Michiganders have access to secure, reliable and affordable broadband services,” Snyder said.
D’Agostini is vice president of external affairs for the Comcast Heartland Region and previously served as senior director of government affairs for the Comcast Houston Region. He holds a bachelor’s degree in telecommunications from Indiana University and a law degree from the New York Law School.
D’Agostini will serve a term expiring at the pleasure of the governor.
