Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Michigan Board of Dentistry

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Joshua Goodrich of Constantine to the Michigan Board of Dentistry.
The 19-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs in overseeing and regulating the practice of more than 7,800 dentists, 10,100 dental hygienists and 1,400 dental assistants.
"I thank Joshua for serving on this board to help ensure all Michiganders receive proper dental care," Snyder said.
Goodrich is a substitute teacher at Professional Corporate Management Inc. Willsub. He previously worked as an adjunct professor at Kalamazoo Valley Community College and Glen Oaks Community College. Goodrich holds a master of laws from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, a law degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Miami University. He will represent the general public and replace Laurie Horvath.
Goodrich will serve a four-year term to expire June 30, 2021. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
