LANSING, Mich. – “Four years ago today, we signed the Grand Bargain into law, laying the foundation to accelerate Detroit’s renaissance. That day and every day since, people from all over our great state have stood together as one Michigan, collaborating to see our largest city thrive the way it once did.
Since that time, we have seen this city transform faster than many even thought possible. World-class companies like Google, Facebook and Ford are investing in the city and new start-ups are growing every day, shaping diverse success for sustained economic growth.
The feeling of resiliency and pride around the city is unprecedented. We are proving to the rest of the world what Michiganders have long known to be true - Detroit is America’s Comeback City!”
