Gov. Rick Snyder makes appointment to the Elevator Safety Board

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Domenic Policicchio III of Novi to the Michigan Elevator Safety Board.
The 11-member board assists the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs with guidelines, preparation of examinations and issuance of elevator contractor licenses.
“I thank Domenic for ensuring the public is well represented,” Snyder said. “His business and managerial background will be a great addition to the board.”
Policicchio is the director of corporate development at MedCerts, LLC and co-founder of PoliPuzz Solutions, LLC. Policicchio holds an associate degree in business administration and management from Schoolcraft College and a bachelor’s degree in management from Walsh College. He will represent the general public and replace Brett Karl.
Policicchio will serve a four-year term expiring July 22, 2022. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
