Gov. Rick Snyder makes reappointment to the Michigan Board of Acupuncture

LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointment of Jonell Underwood of Dansville to the Michigan Board of Acupuncture.
Housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the 13-member board oversees the registration and practice of acupuncture.
“Jonell has been a dedicated member of the Michigan Board of Acupuncture, and I thank her for her ongoing service to this board,” Snyder said.
Underwood worked as a pricing manager for Sears before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She studied education at Lansing Community College and will continue to represent the general public.
Underwood will serve a four-year term expiring June 30, 2022. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
