LANSING, Mich. - Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the reappointment of John Schrock of Grand Ledge to the Data Collection Agency Governing Board.
The eight-member board determines workers' compensation data requirements for establishing workers' disability compensation insurance rates.
"I thank John for continuing to serve on this board," Snyder said. “His many years of experience working in state government gives me confidence he will represent the voice and needs of the Executive Branch well.”
Schrock has served in state government for more than 30 years and is currently a state division administrator of the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs Workers’ Compensation Agency. Schrock holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Northern Michigan University and will continue to represent the Executive Branch.
Schrock will serve a one-year term expiring Dec. 31, 2019. His appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
