LANSING, Mich. – Gov. Rick Snyder today announced the appointment of Jean Hall of East Lansing to the Michigan Commission on Services to the Aging.
The commission is a 15-member body appointed by the governor to offer oversight on the administration of state programs and priorities affecting aging Michiganders. A majority of the members must be at least 60 years of age and no more than eight may be from the same political party.
“Jean is a hard worker with a variety of talents. I am confident she will bring an excellent perspective to this commission,” Snyder said.
Hall is the executive manager in the Office of Strategic Policy for the Executive Office of Gov. Rick Snyder. In addition, she is a licensed realtor with Coldwell Banker Hubbell Briarwood and holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. She will represent Independents and replace Donna Murray-Brown.
Hall will serve a three-year term expiring July 28, 2021. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the Senate.
