Michigan's unemployment rate continues steady decline

“Today’s news of the statewide unemployment rate continuing its downward trend to 4 percent is more good news for Michiganders. We have added nearly 560,000 private-sector jobs since the beginning of 2011 and we will continue the important work of connecting talent to the many jobs available across the state. Michigan now has a good record on job creation and a steadily declining unemployment rate, but our work is not done. We need to keep our foot on the gas to continue what has already been a tremendous comeback.”
