Revenue was also up by 1.5% when compared to the previous month, September 2011. Aggregate revenue for all three Detroit casinos for the month of October 2011 was up by 1.7% compared to the same month last year.

 

  Greektown's revenue was $29.5 million with no percentage change compared to the same month in 2010. Revenue for MGM, and MotorCity was up by 3.3% to $48.3 million, and 0.9% to $37.7 million, respectively, compared to the same month in 2010.

 

The market shares for MGM, MotorCity, and Greektown for the month of October 2011 were 42%, 33%, and 25%, respectively.

 

For the month of October 2011, gaming taxes for the three Detroit casinos were $9.4 million compared to $9.2 million for the same period last year.
