The Automobile Theft Prevention Authority (ATPA) is currently accepting grant applications from law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, and non-profit organizations for enforcement, prosecution, community awareness, and prevention programs aimed at reducing motor vehicle theft.
This grant is funded from assessments paid by insurance companies to the ATPA. A 50 percent cash match is required for all applicants, with the exception of non-profit organizations. Funds must be utilized to enhance motor vehicle theft prevention efforts, not to supplant current programs.
