State Police to Host Employment Day Hiring Event in Flint

The Michigan State Police (MSP) is hosting a one-stop Employment Day hiring event on Saturday, Aug. 1 at the Michigan School for the Deaf (1235 W. Court Street, Flint, Michigan 48503), starting at 8 a.m. This event offers a convenient opportunity to apply for the department’s future trooper and motor carrier officer recruit schools.

“Attending Employment Day on August 1, is the most efficient way to start the hiring process for someone who wants to join our department as an enforcement member,” said Col. James F. Attendees can complete several steps of the hiring process during this event, including:

  •         Application assistance for desired recruit school
  •         Baseline fitness testing
  •         National Testing Network Entry Level Law Enforcement Exam
  •         Preliminary criminal history check
